As our calendars tick over to the last month of the year, we reflect on the year gone by and look forward to what the new year holds. It’s a particularly special time as we farewell some key staff members and edge closer to becoming a completed village. Construction commenced at Renaissance Victoria Point in 2004, with over 300 villas planned to build on the 50-acre site.
Ever since then construction has been going strong at Renaissance and the village community has continued to grow and evolve. Twelve years on, some of our very first residents take great joy in re-calling the first Christmas party and the village social life before the Leisure Centre facilities were established. They are stories of excitement, camaraderie and working together to establish the foundation for the wonderful Village community that is Renaissance Victoria Point today.
General Manager, Andrew Carins retires at the end of this year after 16 years with Renaissance. In the last two decades Andrew has steered the ship through some of the most exciting and challenging times the company has faced. The community life at Renaissance is a direct result of Andrew’s vision and leadership and we look forward to building on that foundation and continuing to provide a retirement lifestyle like no other for retirees.
Leading Renaissance into the new year will be Celia Campbell as Operations Manager and Jessica Miles as Village Manager. Both Celia and Jessica have been a part of the Renaissance family for many years and have been working alongside Andrew transitioning into their new roles. We look forward to a future where Renaissance continues to lead the industry and provide quality retirement lifestyle accommodation for seniors.
